Description: (
There is a stiff uphill at the beginning of of the hike.) This is a joint event of the SF Hiking Club, the East Bay Gay Men's Hiking Club and Out and Outdoors. Hike from Rockaway Pt. to top or ridge on the Farallones view trail to the Baquiano trail, along the ridge on the Sweeney Ridge trail returning down via the Mori ridge trail to the Upper Mori trail, Lishumsha trail to the Bluff trail to Mori point and Headlands trail. The steep climb is worth the spectacular views. Butterfly sanctuary near by and Mori point is where the final scene of Harold and Maude was filmed.

Alternate Meeting Place #1: The Rockaway Beach Parking lot is at the end of San Marlo Way in Pacifica. If you're driving south on Highway 1 towards Pacifica, you'll pass Shelldance Orchids on the left. The turnoff onto San Marlo Way is .8 miles south of there. Turn right and the lot is at the end.
