Description: The Hoo-Koo-E-Koo and Dawn Falls trail loop is relatively easy, except for a couple of short steep sections both up and down. Mostly single-track trails, it follows Hoo-Koo-E-Koo trail from the Crown Road trailhead, and then the fairly steep Corte Madera trail down along a beautiful creek. After some connecting fire roads, we'll take the short but steep Barbara Springs trail, and then follow the Dawn Falls trail along a stream back up to the beginning.
Bring / Wear: Bring water, lunch, sunscreen and a hat for the sunny portions, sturdy hiking shoes, and poles for the steep sections
Rain Policy: Hike will take place rain or shine.

Alternate Meeting Place #1: Crown Road trailhead. Take Hwy 101 through Marin to Sir Francis Drake, west towards San Anselmo. At College turn left (fire station on the right). At the stop sign, turn right on Woodland Road. At the next stop sign, turn left on Evergreen Dr. Continue up the hill to Crown Road, and turn left. The trailhead is at the end of Crown Road. Parking may be limited, requiring parking near the Evergreen/Crown road junction.
